Menu:
A weekly menu of breakfast, lunch and two snacks will be posted on the parents’ bulletin board. Parents must supply food substitutions if the child cannot eat the foods due to religious beliefs or allergies. Breakfast will be served from 6:45 A.M. to 7:45 A.M. Arrangements for breakfast must be made with the director or teacher on Monday for the following week. Parents will need to provide a diet plan for infants and must update this every two months until the child is on table foods. THE TEACHER OR DIRECTOR MUST BE INFORMED OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES. Children are not permitted to bring food to the Center.
Clothing:
Children should dress in loose, comfortable clothing that can be managed by the child and is appropriate to the season and weather. The children will play outside daily, weather permitting, so children should be dressed in accordance with the weather conditions, including hats and gloves when needed. The Center recommends children wear tennis shoes or other shoes that tie.
Toys:
Apple of Your Eye is equipped with toys and special materials which interest young children. The Center requests that personal toys be left at home. Children may bring a special sleeping toy and toys for Show and Tell. The Center is concerned that toys brought from home on a regular basis may become damaged or misplaced.
